5th Annual BeeSpace Workshop, May 21-22, 2009

The Fifth Annual BeeSpace Workshop will take place May 21 and 22 (Thursday and Friday) at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. The Workshop will be held in the Institute for Genomic Biology (www.igb.uiuc.edu), a state-of-the-art facility in the heart of campus.

Highlights of the Workshop include project status talks by the BeeSpace faculty investigators for general audiences and working sessions of the BeeSpace environment for project members. Slides and videos of the talks are available under BeeSpace Workshop 2009.

BeeSpace is a National Science Foundation-funded project whose five-year mission is to develop a cutting-edge bioinformatics resource for functional analysis of social behavior, leveraging the honey bee research community. The BeeSpace environment enables users to navigate a uniform space of diverse databases and literature sources for hypothesis development and testing.
